Production Flow
What We Do
Four Brothers provides in-house engineering, mold making, zinc alloy die casting, metal stamping, and related metal forming processes in Taiwan. We work with qualified material suppliers and coordinate plating or coating with specialized finishing partners according to customer requirements.
Our production process covers material preparation, forming, semi-finished treatment, surface finishing, inspection, packaging, and shipment. The following flow shows how zinc alloy, brass components are produced from raw material to finished goods.
A. Zinc Alloy Die Casting Process
-
Custom Tooling & Material Preparation
Custom molds are prepared based on customer drawings and product requirements. Zinc alloy materials are selected and prepared according to the specifications required for production.
-
Hot-Chamber Die Casting
The zinc alloy is melted and injected into mold cavities using hot-chamber die-casting equipment to form the required component shape. This process supports detailed part geometries and consistent dimensional quality.
-
De-gating, Deburring & Semi-Finished Inspection
After casting, parts undergo de-gating, deburring, and tumbling to remove excess flash and burrs. Semi-finished parts are inspected for dimensions and surface condition before proceeding to surface treatment.
-
Surface Plating & Coating
Parts are sent for plating or coating according to customer requirements. Available surface finishes can include Nickel, Nickel-Free, Gold, Antique Brass, Black Nickel, Antique Silver, and other plating or coating colors.
-
Final Inspection
Finished components are inspected for appearance and product quality before proceeding to the next order-handling stage.
B. Brass Strip Stamping & Deep Drawing Process
-
Brass Strip Material Preparation
Brass strip materials are prepared according to product design and production requirements before entering the forming process.
-
Progressive Die Stamping & Deep Drawing
Brass strips are processed using stamping and forming operations such as blanking, deep drawing, piercing, and bending to create the required component shape.
-
Degreasing, Deburring & Semi-Finished Inspection
Stamped parts undergo degreasing, deburring, and tumbling to remove lubricants, sharp edges, and burrs. Semi-finished parts are inspected for dimensions and surface condition before surface treatment.
-
Surface Plating & Coating
Parts are sent for barrel plating or coating according to client requirements. Eco-friendly finishes include Nickel, Nickel-Free, Gold, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, and other plating or coating colors.
-
Final Inspection
Finished components undergo appearance and quality inspections before moving on to the next stage of order processing.
