The FAQs below explain which materials are commonly used and how to select the right material and process based on product shape, structure, and application requirements.
What materials can you process?
We commonly process brass, stainless steel, and zinc alloy for stamping, deep drawing, and die-casting applications.
• Brass strips: C2680 (CuZn6535) and C2300 (CuZn8515), typically 0.2–0.5 mm thick.
• Stainless steel: SUS316 thin strips, typically 0.2–0.25 mm thick.
• Zinc alloy: Zamak 2, 3, and 5 for die casting.
Other material grades or thicknesses can also be evaluated based on project requirements.
How do I choose between zinc alloy, brass, and stainless steel?
Zinc alloy is generally better for complex 3D or solid shapes, while brass or stainless steel is more suitable for thin-wall, hollow, stamped, or deep-drawn parts.
• Zinc alloy die casting (5–100 mm): Suitable for complex 3D shapes, relief designs, threads, and solid components.
• Brass / SUS316 stamping & deep drawing (2–50 mm): Suitable for thin-wall or hollow parts, rivets, nailheads, snaps, clips, terminals, and other stamped components.
The appropriate material should be selected based on the product design, application, and functional requirements.
